Fully Crashing Whole PC

As of right this minute i can play anywhere from 1 minute to 1 hour and the game will do a hard lock on my pc requiring a full power off/on cycle to get things working again, have checked all windows updates, Graphics card updates and bios updates. The problem dont seem to be on my end.

Unfortunately it is on your end / your pc. Likely Win11 new update & driver combo:

Combination of Windows 11 version 10.0.26100 (24H2)
and
nvidia 566.03 .. bad combination

If you're unable to roll back to 23H2 of Windows 11, then by doing DDU in safe mode then installing nvidia driver 561.09 and then rebooting you might be okay.

DDU instructions and some links to the most recent nvidia drivers are in that reddit post as well.

I found a reddit post that their 24H2 worked fine AFTER they redid all the game profiles in Windows and in nvidia control panel while running 24H2, but that was for another set of games

I attempted both of these fixes, which neither of them seem to work, actually made things worse, or did nothing. If anyone has any other suggestions would be great, PoE is currently unplayable for me at all atm.

Can you run a DXDIAG and "Save All Information" to a .txt file and upload it to www.pastebin.com then link it back here?
I've also been experiencing this issue on loading screens .. sometimes its multiple times a day 1 -2 minutes after starting the game. Sometimes an 8 hr play sessions with zero issues.

Fully locks the PC but i can move the mouse and hear the audio still during

Processor AMD Ryzen 7 5800X
Installed RAM 32.0 GB
Graphics Nvidia 3070 GTX ( 560.81 currently installed after DDU changes )

Windows 11 Home : 24H2

Tried multiple DDU removals in safe mode going back to Nvidia drivers that worked flawlessly since Necropolis all the way upto latest drivers. Same issue.

Nothing in WinEventLog showing a system crash - its as if PoE completely locks all processing of the system and keyboard stops responding ( mouse and audio stays working till hard reboot )

Done everything from 72 hour memtests86, inc testing with 1 / 4 ram slots removed each time, stress tests with Cinebench, Patching BIOS, undervolding CPU to lower temps, and more. Only happening with PoE.

https://pastebin.com/2RTfUhRp

DxDiag Attached.

Edit : Also run the following all came back clear

CHKDSK
DISM scan health
DISM restore health
sfc /scannow

I'm pretty sure your issue is related to 24H2.
At least you're running the right GPU driver.

When did your Win11 update to that version?

I've seen posts about deleting game profiles in Windows & Nvidia Control Panel after the 24H2 update. I've also seen people mention disabling Hardware Accelerated GPU Scheduling, also making sure optimizations for windowed games isn't ticked in the graphics settings of Windows... But I'm not sure if any of these actually really fixed their issues. (disabling HWAGS is not the real fix though if this affects the crashing)

I'm not sure if you've already done this or not, but make sure your AMD chipset is updated.
https://www.amd.com/en/support/download/drivers.html

On that page:
Chipsets > AM4 > your board type > submit > win 11
download the newest one and install then reboot

This is redundant with the chipset but make sure your bios is updated as well.

Edit: Looking at your DXDiag it looks as if there's 2 newer bios versions for you.
Your report looks like you're on v1M and v1N is available and there's a beta version v1O1. The beta version appears to have an AGESA update for AMD boards.

Not claiming that any of this will fix your issues, but things to try.
