POE2 holding back POE

We were told that POE2 and POE1 would not have an effect on each other. So i ask, why only 2 leagues this year? Why are we not getting a league every 4 months like we were told when it went from 3 month leagues originally? I feel like the community needs some answers. I do appreciate all the long hard years of work and all the fun I have had in the game but constant let downs are not like GGG I know POE2 will be amazing. Some of us still love POE and are wondering what exactly is going on and should we expect 6 month leagues now?

While I do agree that it is a bad move to give PoE1 this much less priority it is simply false to claim they told us PoE and PoE2 wouldn't affect eachother. They said they have a goal of running both games simultaneously with staggered leagues. They have also said a while ago that it was a goal to for them to run 3 month leagues for PoE1. Things don't always go as planned. Two leagues this year means they missed their goal in a big way. But there was never ever made a promise the two games wouldn't affect eachother.

If they had made such a promise you could be 100% sure most threads made about the delay would open up with a link to that promise. Noone has provided a link of such a promise. Can you provide it? Who told "us" this?

poe 1 is over slowly by release of poe 2, thats sad true. GGG cant control both, its lie. I remember how they control new leagues, its always with some problems

i really hope poe2 will finally fully launch next year or we will probably only get 2 poe leagues again all year

People start to hate POE2 even before it is released because of it's impact on POE1. I think they are making a big mistake!
