Same issue here, that clipping/strob effect has been around for quite some times now and it gets a lot worse with bigger packs of monsters like when you run 8 mods corrupted maps with delirium. Don't waste your time trying to fix it, it's not a problem on your side, it's an issue with the game engine.
If you play in 4K and the game exit to the desktop or crashes when you run into packs that render like in the video, try to lower the "Render Resolution" to 1080p see if that works. Last edited by Silverpelt#6095 on Nov 5, 2024, 1:17:38 PM

well, i tagged it crash, but it doesnt actually crash the client. there was no appropriate tag imo.
Ive only had something similar happen with harvest a few league back, and I believe it turned out to be something in the pipeline causing it. At any rate, th harvest issue seems to have been fixed. edit: I just ran a large pack size glacier with deli/harb, and I noticed it happened twice, once in each of the large rooms containing multiple harbingers. WHen I killed about half of the summoned monsters in each case, it stopped in that room. I tried turning the number of lights from med to high and my next such map didnt have the glitch. (i also turned off depth of field, but this doesnt seem like it could have been the cause). I have a theory tht the issue stems from simple mathematics. on the high setting, the game attaches a light to projectiles (like ball lightning), whereas on med, this does not happen, and so the lighting intensity of these things must be calculated at a variable distance (which is likely a much more intense calculation than one in which a light moves along with the projectile) did a few maps including a cave (carcass), and it didnt happen. I just tried an elder map in the castle ruins, and it did occur a little. I didnt notice any ball lightnings this time, but there were some lightning bolts that looked like arc ran one more, caldera, and i didnt notice anything except briefly when a bunch of eldritch kali demons popped and started needling lightning everywhere, and then it went away, seemingly at the instant they were deleted.
