Settlers of Kalguur 2.0 - How about...

Let's ditch the SoK + Necro idea and do Affliction 2.0.

Just thinking about starting that town over from scratch kills my motivation to play. I'm already over the idea of replaying Settlers... it doesn't sound fun, no matter how many mystery boxes you throw in there.

Whoever came up with this event doesn't seem to understand what is fun in Path of Exile.

We heard you like grinding gold and micromanaging additional interfaces so we're going to make you do it all over again. You will also be completely broke again.

Someone must be a seriously degenerate level of addicted to find this "new" league reset to be anything but agony, but since this game now caters to 26 hour a day streaming playstyles, I suppose I shouldn't be surprised.

Probably won't happen since players accepted it anyway, there will be like 30k players in that event, you can shove anything into PoE players throat and they will take it and ask for more.

At the very minimum they should double the gold in T16 for this event(not T17s)

Adding the gauntlet campaign bosses could also be a fun twist.

Affliction? How about POE Classic? Ascendancy league as it was. Login. Nostalgia event. Not happening by thur however

Jokes on GGG, I only engaged with Settlers for the challenges. If I were to play in this extended league, which I honestly don't have much incentive to do so, I'd just ignore Settlers league entirely. It's not going core (with maybe the exception of the currency exchange I hope), so there's no reason for me to care about it.

I also don't want the old Affliction mechanic in this extended league. We shouldn't be trying to feed people this brainrot.
