I know I'm not alone in feeling a little disappointed in the delay for PoE2, I was certainly ready to get back into Wraeclast. So I'm going to get a private league started but with some very minor restrictions. I don't love the league mods, but do like the idea of an off-meta skill league to kill some time. So I think a fair cut off is skills with a 1% or higher usage on poeninja as of the date of league creation. If a skill has combined usage among vaal skills/trans gems they're out too, but obviously willing to hear out exceptions if you're gonna play a trans skill that happens to have a super popular variant along with a dead one. The list won't be perfect, but I'm not trying to yuck anyone's yum, so if you have an argument about why your thing is off-meta, we can hear you out. Also, if something like Raise Specter is banned from the main skill list, obviously go ahead and use it for your minion build just not as the main DPS, I don't wanna take the tools away from making builds either. Same thing for movement skills.

With some light assembly, the banned list is as follows:
Lightning Strike + all the variants
Ice Nova of Frostbolts
Righteous Fire+Vaal but not the mana bros
Hexblast
Molten Strike + MS Zenith
Flicker
Lacerate of Hemorrhage
Fire Trap
Frost Blades of both kinds
Splitting Steel
DD of all the variants
Power Siphon
Penis Brand of the D
Ele Hit of the Spectrum
Holy Relic of actually doing damage
KB of let's say all variants
Tornado Shot
Ground Slam
Shock Wave
Eviscerate

So this is the list to start out with, open to corrections/input. As far as levelling goes go wild, I'm not trying to draw out your campaign, not exactly the peak part of gameplay. So the rule will be you have to switch to offmeta skills by the time you start to map. I set league start for later today, since that works for me and that's the perk of setting up I guess.

So less than a day in to a very short notice league, we've hit 47 people, but with only 40 slots open so far(although it looks like the next ten should be opening very shortly). 10 more days have also been added to the league. Lots of time to come and join in!
