Make the sound of Ignite and Shock more attractive as is the Shatter sound effect
INTRO
I have been thinking through many leagues, Why I have this disconnect between my the builds I NEED to run vs the builds I LIKE to run? And something was stuck in my mind a couple leagues, and its Ignite builds. Everyone knows that Chain Reactions, Explosions, and any animation/effect in addition of Ignite is a massive improve to the build and experience, but from itself, is lacking of feedback in-game. Visually is developing what it needs to be, but the fire sound is almost non-existent. This problem is somewhat the same with Shock, you never notice by sound that you were Shocked, or you afflict Shock to something, and this is a big problem not only in the awareness area, but in the fun department too. The best example is the large amount of players playing cold builds, not only because shatter destroy corpses, some Necromancer builds that need corpses too play cold conversion, not only that, Freeze is a defensive mechanic that create a layer of comfort and experience to many players. RECOMMENDATIONS To make both Ailments (Ignite & Shock) more appealing to others I suggest the following changes: Ignite sound effect needs a replacement or boost on the crisp side. People need to notice the sound effect something that is Burning or Ignite as well as people notice the shatter effect. Both effects and sounds needs to be different (even I know that they are almost the same). Shock sound have to exist, its closest to nothing, the sparking effect or the coiling effect is not executed, people never notice the shock effect, even in replays people need to check the Debuff bar just because they don't notice what kills them, or even with cold to lightning skills, they don't even notice the power or proc of their shock. Its so tiny that I can suggest to increase the visual effect for both, monsters and character. To be honest it could be AMAZING, if the effects of Burning/Ignited/Shocked were twice as strong visually for the character. People, often deceived by an illusive good, desire their own ruin.
