game crashes cause wasted effort and time

Yesterday i have sent a shipment with a 50M and the ship was attacked by pirates... This is normal and the solution to the issue is very easy, just kill the leader... But because there are "no multiple gates" for this leader, the game crashed during my duel with him and I could not enter him again... So I lost all my soldiers & the shipment ... konowing that my PC specifications are strong

so what is the solution now ?
