Is there an alternative to map overlay?

I hope POE 2 can have some alternative to map overlay.

Maybe move the overlay to the side or make the minimap bigger?

Playing without map overlay and really seeing the beauty of the game is one of the things D3 had going for it.

What do you guys think?

You can move the fullscreen map overlay wherever you like using the arrow keys.

Ah Yes, but it doesn't remember the location of you tab out. Maybe I should double check this
