Enhanced Cobra Lash Skill Gem would be cool

Hello.
Been playing Path Of Exile for under 500hrs, definitely still feel like a noob, buying things and realizing "oops, that was wrong" I am loving it and will continue to play it. I don't have as many gameplay hours as my brother or many other players. I love certain skills, Scorching Ray and its buffed version, Cyclone and it's buffed, and Cobra Lash..... Which I noticed doesn't have a buffed version.

This is just my thought, First let me deviate as little but I'd love to have scorching ray and the immolation version buffed up and given a multiple beam support gem (I know, no such thing but... why not), that would be awesome, spin like a fan of fire. Might be a bit overkill tho but would be cool. But to my actual idea.

Cobra Lash. It looks cool how it changes its shape depending on whether using claw or dagger and being a projectile with chaos or elemental or both, and chains, straight away I got the micro for it, it reminds me of that whistling arrow Yondu controls from Guardians of the Galaxy. I am a impatient player (I'm learning not to be) I see a build and I am like "gimme, gimme, gimme gimme" but things need currency. I saw a Cobra Lash build with 1.8b damage and was like "yes please" but found, it wasn't mana efficient and no build guide. I believe damage is key, kill faster, clear fast and get currency fast, my brother is teaching me to not be about damage, but I like damage. I got my scorching ray to 800k, I am happy, still a work in progress but currency.

I would like to see a buffed up Cobra Lash, maybe call it: Cobra Lash of Contagion, being a poison/chaos, maybe work some sort of poison name in there.

Give it a tiny increase in mana usage but add 1+ chain, increase chaining damage, 55% chance to poison on hit and potentially a chaos AOE effect where the projectile not only chains but releases a debuff around the mobs within the area, so if the projectile doesn't reach at least they are debuffed in the area. Might sound a little over kill but it would be awesome to have a buffed version, again, the name could be different, states, I am a just getting a idea out of my head. Anyone with ideas?, I would like to hear them. With so many sklls out there and so many to try, I look forward to the future.
