POE 3.25.1b game crashes very often

POE 3.25.1b Game crashes very often, about one time every map. No error message. It is impossible to play.

I don't observe a behaviour that belongs to skills, specific maps or whatever else. I run T16 Maps fully scarabed.

With the network mode "Lockstep" the game crashes more often than with "Predictive".

The most consistent behaviour is after the crash. If i immediately restart the game it recrashes in a short delay. Sometimes during the gearwheel start animation sometimes after <LOG IN> sometimes after selecting char and <PLAY>. After a pause of 5min the game restarts very likely without a crash.

I run POE on PC (stand-alone) and tried the troubleshooting guide and the PC Known Issues Guide but nothing solves the problem.

Troubleshooting your Path of Exile client:
I verify clients content. Running PackCheck.exe changes nothing. CHECK
I clear clients cache, delete the cache folders, changes nothing. CHECK
I clear clients config. CHECK


Troubleshooting your computer:
1. Make sure your computer meets the minimum hardware specs. CHECK

2. Restart your computer. CHECK
3. Exclude Path of Exile from anti-virus real-time scanning (including Windows Defender). CHECK
4. Ensure your Path of Exile client is installed on an SSD. CHECK
5. Ensure your drivers are up to date. Graphics drivers up to date. CHECK
6. Ensure your OS is up to date. Windows 11. CHECK
7. Windows memory diagnostic. No errors. CHECK.


Troubleshooting the connection:

1. Restart your router. CHECK
2. If you're using wifi, try using a network cable instead. CHECK, not using wifi.
3. If you're using a network cable, try using a different network cable and/or plugging the cable into a different port on your router. CHECK
4. Make sure Path of Exile is allowed through your firewall. CHECK

If nothing helps contact your ISP and have them help troubleshoot your connection. TODO

Try playing over a VPN. CHECK. Use of VPN changes nothing.


It's bloody annoying, i don't really like to investigate further with processor tricks or the same crap.
