Essence mobs dying but not dropping anything

I have had multiple instances of essence mobs dying without dropping their essences or anything else. it seems to be when the mob is the crab things that are like small dweller of the deeps but its just the second phase of the mob. If that is the mob in the essence it doesnt drop anything but if you have to fight both phases then they do drop.

Unfortunately, it's a known issue with Asenath's that's been reported a lot of times over many many leagues.

Well thats frustrating. I lost a good 10d of essences in those mobs over the last 2 days. whelp

I am having the same issue, but not using Asenaths. I am running a Power Siphon Mines Trickster with all yellow gear, and it is happening quite often. Is this like the D3 blue gob issue where we kill too fast/too much dps? Kind of silly if so.

This is not an old bug. I have two maps do this to me. No Scarabs only Essence mod is Prolific Essence from the Atlas. THis is a new bug

Figured it out.
The Essence mobs are replaced mobs from the Lanturn. If the mob is a normal one from the map it will drop loot normally.
