High Templar Avarius' purging orb

It seems this is the move, the one where small projectiles are released in a nova and fan outwards. Each of these projectiles (in Gauntlet) does about 1k damage per tick, they tick multiple times and they stun the character. I was 10 levels over and res capped with over over 2k hp and I got murdered by the attack. The hitbox on the projectiles is also much larger than the projectiles would indicate.

I checked some streamers to see how they deal with the attack, but it seems they have a completely OP build that just murders both Templar and Innocence with them getting about 1 attack off per phase. I instead showed up with poisonous concoction which apparently is 'balanced' or something.

I've had similar things happen in the softcore trade league as well so please take a look at this attack. I don't think players should be forced to log to evade an attack.
