Animate Guardian Disapperance

I was in my hideout and removed the helmet which my animate guardian was socketed to test some other helmet. When i put back the original helmet the animate guardian was gone. I assumed it was just gone and could simply reactivate it but that was not the case. It disappeared completely. All the items are gone and have to rebuild it.
P.S: No it did not die because it was next to me in the hideout chilling.

same here, happend 2 times today.

in the 2nd try the order was leer cast helmet, Gruthkul's Pelt, Dying Breath and then i tried the new Leviathan Gauntlets base with eater and exarch influence and the animate guardian disappeared.

You are killing yours with fleshcrafter by giving it to much chaos resist.

first time i tried this build with fleshcrafter and did not know, too much chaos res can hurt him.
