Crashed and I cannot login

Had an unexpected error has occurred disconnect, crashed my game. Re-opened game and it will not let me login. Bottom left keeps saying Connecting to login server... > an unexpected disconnection occurred. I tried repairing files in steam as well, nothing is working.

I saw some people having issues with one of the servers not long ago, try switching. One of the hops or the server itself could be having issues. I don't recall which one it was offhand.

I have tried swapping servers. I have tried verifying files. I tried restarting.. Nothing is working, it keeps doing it. Will not let me log in.

Having a similar issue, game crashed froze when switching characters, had to force close it. Now it's saying "disconnected from patching sever before patching, try again"

Not on steam, no vpn. First connection issue ever. Restarted computer, don't really want to uninstall and re install, but might have to.

update: i have uninstalled/reinstalled still cannot login.

I just fixed mine (or it magickly started working.

I have use windows defender. Went to firewall can clicked to allow a program, seen POE nor GG was on list, added client and the 64b.exe from GG game folder and it went right through after saving the change and exiting.

I never messed with my fire wall at any time, so something must have happened when I clicked to close out window when game froze. Not sure but it's working.

Final update: FIXED.. I had to reset my router.

I think this is not a problem with my Internet, something with the game servers?
