Delirium and Legion sound of explosion ignoring sound settings

Since the introduction of Legion League, especially in the follow-up Delirium League, the game has had an ear-blasting sound that does not respect audio settings. It is incredibly potent while farming Delirium.

I do not know how to describe the sound or what causes it, so I decided to record a short gameplay video where you can clearly hear it. Also, you will see that all my other sounds are disabled, yet that popping sound persists.

Is there anything I can do to mute this sound?

Disable "enable reverb" in the sound settings.
