So basically was scrolling the whole forum to find out that this bug hasn't been fixed yet
Lava Lake Map on it's own buggy, when it comes to invulnerable Kitava
But it was combined with Abyss, so the chance of facing to any bug is so extreme i don't even have words

cleared entire map, then got to the abyss. abyss didn't disappear so i would count that it was done since i got stygian vise as a drop. then have done all other events such as delirium + ultimatum and portal to the ascendancy offreing. still no drops, checked it 7 times. portals closed

It may be all Valdo map that have abyss have a moderate chance to bug, but since you instead of bumping existing thread as told by devs, then you should make your thread specific to "Mystic Waste" map only
