Completele graphical corruption of game state
Bug description
I'm having constant graphical bugs this league. Basically every time some flashy effect is displayed during a single PoE session, there seems to be a % chance for my game graphics to completely explode. Mesh vertices get scrambled, shaders become corrupted or completely invisible, effects turn into laser rave party. Game basically becomes completely unplayable, even though underneath the visual lasgana all game actions seem to happen as expected. Once state becomes corrupted, only restarting the game can fix it. Right now I have to restart the game every ~1h of playing. Another side effect of this corrupt state is that minimap becomes patchily fully revealed. One time, my game entered this corrupt state while in wildwood and revealed whole layout. Here's an example video of this corrupt state in my hideout. https://i.imgur.com/W9YkXnI.mp4 bug number: 2,313,479,056 System info CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4460 CPU @ 3.206Hz GPU: MSI GTX 960 OC (MS-V320) GPU driver: 32.0.15.6094 (GeForce 560.94) Motherboard: MSI B85M-E45 (MS-7817) RAM: 2x 8GBB PC3-12800 DDR3 SDRAM Kingston KHX1600CIOD3/86 System: Windows 10 Home PoE is installed on a separate SSD from operating system. Other details Issue occurs both on fullscreen and borderless. Corrupt state almost always begins with a single long frame stutter. More juiced mapping gameplay seems to have a higher chance to trigger this corrupt state but sometimes displaying a single flashy mtx in town is enough. Two times starting screen share on discord triggered this bug????? Bug occurs much less while using DX12 instead of Vulkan but DX12 has 3x longer load times and ~15less fps for me so I choose to deal with these issues instead. I have tried moving shader cache to a RamDisk two days ago but issues occur at the same rate. I have not seen this corrupt state affect inventory, UI, loot and object labels ever. I did however see it affect passives and atlas tree one time, scrambling some node icons into flickering gibberish. My system is old but it's absolutely not dying. It runs Witcher 3 and other games without any graphical artfacts. Device error scans with OCCT also came up all okay for everything. Last bumped on Sep 8, 2024, 8:10:42 PM
