PSA - Potential issues with latest nvidia driver (590.94)?
I have an RTX 3090 Ti/Ryzen 7 7800X3D
I logged in today after taking a break and noticed that I was getting really bad lag, around 50 fps when I'm usually at a solid 165 in town. The GPU latency on the ingame monitor was very high (nothing else was out of the ordinary) and resource monitor showed the GPU usage at 100%, but the power consumption and temperatures were acting as if the GPU was idle. I tried all three renderers, changed every single graphics option, nothing fixed it. I also cleared my cache files, ran packcheck and restored the nvidia control panel settings to default to no effect. I restarted multiple times during this process. During my break I had updated my driver from 560.70 to 560.94 as was recommended for the game I was playing. I rolled back the driver to 560.70 and now PoE works properly again. I tried playing a number of different games while on the 'new' driver, PoE was the only one that had any issues.
