Game crashes often since last patch and/or last NVidia driver update

Hi,

I can't really tell whether it's since the latest patch or the last NVidia driver update, but the game is again crashing a lot like at the beginning of the league. I think I started experiencing the crashes this last weekend or so, or maybe already last Thursday or Friday.

At the time I resolved the problem by changing the Graphics Engine from DirectX 11 to DirectX 12, and then for several weeks the game was working totally fine like every other league that I played in the past.

But now for some reason it's happening frequently again. Typically, the image freezes and then the game just terminates. Today I had a really nice one, I started a new map and as soon as I started moving my Windows 11 completely crashed and I had a blue screen - the thing that normally never happens anymore these days. The wonderful part of it, when I restarted the game I saw that the game had killed me, as I lost 2 XP bars. I wonder how that can be when there were no monsters in the vicinity and I am mildly amazed that I will have to play one hour just to make up for that, and I am hoping that a fix is coming soon for these stability issues.

I don't really need to be doing anything in particular. For example, when I restarted the game after the blue screen, at first the game froze after I logged in and clicked "play" and I had to terminate the game. And just now, I started the game, went to my hideout, then clicked on the portal to go to Westmarch and the game just froze and terminated.

But in my experience the past few days that it started happening again, most of the crashes are just in maps, the screen freezes briefly then the game just terminates.

Please devs do something about this ;)

I will be answering by own post to say that the problem got resolved after uninstalling the current NVidia drivers and installing the previous version.

However, I don't want GGG to think that there isn't a problem with the game, as I am not experiencing any kind of crash with the numerous other games that I am playing. There has to be something about the way POE handles the graphics.

My game started crashing and freezing PC after i updated NVIDIA game driver today. Yesterday everything was alright. Will try to get back to older drivers.
