Shipment is a joke for casual players

This game is not for players who do not wish to treat it like a second job. This "buff" to kingsmarch shipping was just a more obvious message from the devs so you understand. Now excuse me while I get 3 chaos orbs after sending tens of thousands of food and 100k dust.

Nah this league is dead bro, and you guys want it to go core? LOL, this garbage makes ultimatum look like the pinnacle of ARPG design.

This has nothing at all to do with easy vs hard, casual vs serious, whatever.

If I walk into a casino and put my entire paycheck on black, I don't get to complain about how hard I worked to get that money or say that roulette is unfair when i lose. Literally nobody on this thread would say I were being reasonable in that situation.

And the crazy thing is: I had far better odds of winning than OP probably did. So knock it off with these bad faith us vs them arguments already. There's a red bar which tells you your chances of losing a shipment. OP took a bad gamble and lost, there's nothing else to see here.

The reason you get 3 chaos from your shipments is the same reason OP lost his - you can't be bothered to read and understand how the mechanic works.

No effort = no reward. Simple as that.

The issue with this entire thread is players like you equate your lack of effort with the league being bad.

I can see how much I get v how much I put in and how much time it takes to micromanage.

It just doesn't have that wow factor and feels like a half-assed implementation of a decent idea.

Like if I am to believe the datamines, GGG decided that ports have specific rewards for various metals, but they decided not to tell us. Not cool. and on top of that we have to deal with risk when instead they could have not have any risk and just make higher tier sailors sail faster.

Why should a potentially weeks or two weeks of grind be destroyed because of a sub10% risk, who knows?

If you’re sending out 50mil shipments with risk it’s your own fault. Don’t send high shipments if your sailors are low level.

It's worth doing if you just want to do big shippings ever so often instead of small shippings across the day.
You still get a good amount of currency out of the large packages but you wouldn't really know as you don't even interact enough with it to have the experience.

I'm not really trying to say max shipments aren't ever worth doing I worded that poorly. Thats what the word "arguably" in my post was intended to communicate for people who want to actually discuss this in good faith instead of bristling up over some anti-streamer thing again.

I get that you're using this narrative of: "listening to what streamers say and then repeating it" as a way to skirt the TOS and insinuate insulting things about posters who you disagree with without getting yourself on probation; but its not clever or subtle, you're not fooling anyone.

I really resent that you're trying to turn consideration of others opinions into some sort of insult. I can't tell you how dimly I view this tactic you're using.

Anyway being as this is like the 4th or 6th time you've directed your anti streamer pet peeve thing (or not so "subtle" insult ploy) in my direction and I've seen you do it to multiple other posts by other people across multiple threads can I ask you politely to stop directing them at me? You've said it over and over already, its tediously obvious how you feel, I get it. You don't need to repeat yourself a 7th or whatever time. Suffice to say I don't share your view I think diverse opinions from the POE community are interesting and worth talking about. Certainly I'm not going to stop discussing things I've heard or read in the POE community because you don't like it or you personally don't know the streamer and want to confabulate all the streamers you don't know into a pack of know-nothings in your own head so you can hand wave some forum post you don't like.

@ alhazred70, he's been doing that to me for months now. unfortunately he does his insults in a way that dont directly break the tos so he gets away with it. this forum desperately needs an ignore button.

You're using a public forum so expect other players to correct you especially if you spread false information around without any proper ingame experience as backup from your side.
You've been proven wrong so many times with all the claims you've picked up from some streamer cause they are either just telling you something wrong to make content or their words got picked up in the wrong context and are based around their personal needs and not the overall performance, and it's not any different with the random claim that huge shipping ain't worth it. Spreading wrong information around is just not cool as it causes nothing good but confusion on the more inexperienced players who actually come to the forum to gather proper helpful information and something like "huge shipping ain't worth it" shouldn't be just thrown into the room especially after intense data gathering and testing of many others with widely positive outcomes.

So expect that more experienced players are going to take those bait claims with a grain of salt especially after certain statements or streamer got proven wrong for the 7th or whatever time.

Just as another case example, do you recall the big debate about the melee changes being bad cause one streamer threw something obscure and misleading into the room? 1 month later and lot's of people are playing or still play melee with a blast and without any problems whatsoever despite the big big concerns of someone with lacking knowledge spreading false information about the entire archetype lol.
