Elemental Overload removes Critical Strikes' 100% chance to ignite/freeze/shock

I'm unsure if this is new and intended or a bug.

Elemental Overload has Ailments never count as being from Critical Strikes. Historically this had no effect on inflicting ailments, it mainly just denied damaging ailments the from-a-crit DoT multiplier bonus.

Currently, Elemental Overload appears to remove the character's inherent Critical Strikes always Ignite/Freeze/Shock. It also removes crits' chance to Scorch/Brittle/Sap with Secrets of Suffering.

Ailments can still be inflicted through actual chance-to-x stats, so it doesn't prevent ailments from crits entirely, just the chance gained by critting.

They removed it to prevent EO working with new PA. And instead of honest explanation in the RAQ post, we got: "well guys you see, one line contradicts to another, so PA and EO aren't going to work together". Like we are fools.

Because there was no change to the keystone itself, but there was a mechanical change, it should be clarified.

Likely the best solution is to adapt the modifier on Painseeker and add it the Keystone:

"Critical Strikes do not inherently inflict Ailments"
Ailments never count as being from Critical Strikes wording covers the new behaviour as well (the line has 2 interpritations). I don't feel like EO description needs more lines or clarifications in this regard.

That's not about just the inherent property of crits to inflict ailments. Secrets of Suffering for example also doesn't work. Or hypothetical "Bleeding you inflict with Critical Strikes is Aggravated" wouldn't work either.

Oh, Adder's Touch doesn't work either. I see, didn't realize the cases were for all Crit conditional ailment stats. Very weird that they changed it suddenly.
