Old PSN player for poe coming back for poe2 on pc

So I heard my cosmetics and purchases from poe1 psn, will xfer to poe2 on pc? Is this accurate? If so, will I need to log in to claim any un claimed rewarded cosmetics (portal skin for heist event) that I didn't previously claim? How is this merger going to work?

If I purchase a poe1 pc cosmetic, will it "synch" with my poe1 psn cosmetics when poe 2 drops? Can I merge a psn/pc account together for poe2? <- I want to play poe 1 on pc to prep for poe2, but I'm not going to waste money on an account if my pc mtx won't merge with my console mtx.

Anyone know if my pc account will merge with my psn account for poe2?
