Unable to Mine Ore

Bug report ref #: 40001748808

Trying to activate Verisium ore and unable to begin encounter. Managed to get past the "Press X" prompt today for the first time in a week and decided to post a report because I haven't seen anyone talking about it.

This is most likely caused by having certain skills bound to X.

I'm not saying they don't need to fix it, just letting you know that if you either don't put any skill on X, or try different ones, you may find that the issue can be avoided.
Thought the same and tried that, none of the skills I'm using relieve me of the issue. I'm not going to rebuild a new character just for Verisium..I think I already got the 5,000 bar challenge done, so I would just as soon give up on the league mechanic completely before messing with my set up.

Necropolis was at least functional, if not as ambitious :|

There have been problems with skills on the X button for years.

I try, as much as possible, to not use the X button at all. I generally assign a triggered skill (such as one on CWDT) to X, to prevent the game from automatically assigning anything there.

Now that Auras don't require restarting after death, you can use the skill-assigning bar for turning them on (without actually assigning them to a button). This means you have 11 buttons left for actual skills, if you don't use X.

I very rarely find that I need all of those.

I am using Smite on X normally, a totem on X with left trigger, warcry on X on the right trigger, Vaal skills on Square/Triangle, golem on circle, Frostblink on circle, Leap on circle. I use every slot lol, set up to be easiest for me to navigate using that many skills. It's a pretty jenk build but like, all Inquisitor is is jenk with building charges and nuking for 4 seconds.

Anyways the patches have improved the issue for me. I no longer have problems with Verisium. There are still invisible monsters, some mechanics I'm nervous to try. Legion Emblems have crashed every time. Harbingers no longer do. Harvest is still mostly invisible, some boss encounters have invisible phases. But better than it was.
Update, it is once again invisible monsters and no textures for the entire first half of the map. Glacier was my first impression with Delirium. Gg, GGG, please fix, I love the game when it works

Just to be fully clear, the only binding that is problematic is X with no trigger. I've never (that I recall) had any issues with L2+X or R2+X. Which is why I said 11 bindings. 3 face buttons (circle, triangle, square), and L2+ each of the 4 face buttons, and R2+ each of the 4 face buttons.

You say you use every binding, but only mentioned 8 binds. Unless you're using 6 vaal skills?

Your profile is private, so I can't see your character, but it sounds like you could probably both make your gameplay smoother/easier and gain some power by reducing the number of skills you're using and increasing the number of support gems you use.

Because gem links are among the most powerful things in the game, the normal practice is (assuming you're not using a 2h weapon), to have 1 6L skill in your body armour, 1 or 2 4L skills in boots/gloves/helm, with the rest being filled out by Auras (or other perma-buffs), and low-link skills like travel skills. Builds using 2h weapons (inc. bows) generally struggle a little bit more with socket pressure, because they often use 2 6L skills.

The only builds that regularly struggle with having enough keybinds are non-auto Warcry builds, which may have as many as 6 warcries, in addition their main skill, a secondary skill, and some other buffs.
