What's wrong with the boss?

I did notice that yesterday when I randomly fought uber sirus, he died in his second phase and dropped

That's the first time I've been able to kil him before his final phase. I didn't read any changes to his battle so was this a bug?

Alkaizer ran into one. His maze spawned a ball in the middle and he couldnt move and died.

The only bug with I´m ware with Uber Sirus is when you phase him at the wrong time when his clone casts a Deatomization Storm while the original one casts the maze. Both goes through and in the end you are left to die instantly (or bit slower with CI builds) because the storm spawns on top of you.

This bug is known being in the game since many seasons.
