Truble entering the game

i have been trying to enter the game but it keeps lagging giving me issues. Before this happened the game was lagging unusualy and when i was in the midle of a ascendency trial the sceen went black, i coud still see my cursor but nothing else worked. I proceded to close the game and open it up again and nothing, i restarted my pc and nothing, i have verifyied my files twice (opening game from steam) and it still hasnt worked. any help woud be apreciated
