Constant crashes

Details:
I had the odd crash here and there since 3.25 started, but today it got much worse. It tends to crash when I open my passive tree or atlas tree/map, but it doesn't always happen. It seems to get worse the more time I play, to the point where I decided to reinstall Path of Exile. I tried both clients, Windows and Steam, but reinstalling only made it worse, the game was instantly crashing, even before getting to the login screen. A fresh reinstall appeared to work only for the crashes to return when I opened my atlas map. Sometimes I also get a failed to uncompress error, the last one that I got when trying to go to Kingsmarch:

I have tried many solutions but nothing seems to work. It appears to work after some time, only to crash again when I open one of the trees or move to a different area. It may be overheating, but I tested it on other games and they all work fine.

Computer specs:
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 Driver Version 560.70
CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-14900KF, 3200 Mhz, 24 Core(s), 32 Logical Processor(s)
RAM: 64 GB
OS: Windows 11 (all up-to-date)

Game Settings:
I tested all three renderers, with many different option configurations. Nothing seems to have an impact on the crashes.

and so far it has been working for me. No more crashes!

If you have an Intel CPU it may be worth trying.

Edit 1:
Nevermind, crashes seem to be back, opened my atlas tree and game crashed and now it keeps crashing...

Note that my PC is top-end and has been off all night, therefore the overheating theory is out.


Edit 2:
Seems to be stable now again. Lowered performance core ratio in the intel extreme tuning utility app to 48x and disabled engine multithreading since this appears to be an issue with 13th gen Intel CPUs.
