High latency (South America)
Hello good people of GGG!
I'm experiencing constant 150ms of latency in this last league, using a VPN brings me back to my usual 30 to 40ms, I did a traceroute following a guide posted on the forums here using WinMTR, here's the results, https://pastebin.com/S0PELZzS , I can't make sense of them so I'd appreciate some help, I'm pretty sure the issue is on my ISP though but so far I've been ignored and turned away by them. If it's of any use I'm from Argentina and my provider is Claro. Last bumped on Jul 29, 2024, 9:03:10 PM

" Looking at your pastebin of the WinMTR you linked, It looks like the issue is starting in the yellow rectangle area. The issue could be between 10.2.187.173 and ae53.cr6-mia1.ip4.gtt.net. Or it could be entirely starting at ae53.cr6-mia1.ip4.gtt.net. Green rectangle = good low ping (likely your ISP) Or after the 3rd hop could be the handoff from your ISP. to the 10. addressses. 192.168.100.1 is your router 100.124.42.2 is your ISP's internal address. Red rectangle = high ping bad and it starts and continues all the way to the bottom. Best ping (lowest it's been during this test) Worst ping (highest it's been during this test) Also, the utilization of the VPN is doing one of 2 things. It is either routing your traffic differently and around this problematic area to the server, or it is taking the same route as disguised traffic and working because for whatever reason one of the connections is flagging game traffic as low priority. I'm thinking the traffic is being routed differently. Think of this as a different road you take to work, school, or restaurant than the normal road you'd take because of road work along the way that your GPS alerted you to.
