Crashing when moving to Southern Forest

I'm trying to get into the southern forest- and every time I try it crashes.

I've tried changing settings, switching to vulkan, restarted my computer etc. I can get into kingsmarch & all act 1 areas no problem.

My friends aren't having this issue - the only difference between us is that I did the micro patch.

This is happening to me too, on my laptop at least. Played several characters on my desktop this league and didn't have this issue.

No clue what's different between the two machines in this regard.

Desktop: i9-13900KF, RTX 4090, 64 GB DDR5 @ 6000
Laptop: i9-14900HX, RTX 4090 Mobile, 64 GB DDR5 @ 5600

Game runs at 300+ fps on the laptop, it's clearly not related to performance. I had cpu undervolted, and gpu overclocked, but undid both those, and they don't seem to be related, as it is still crashing.
