rage support gem not gaining rage on hit

tried shield charge/spectral throw/lacerate and none of them are gaining me rage

Same issue.
Not working on Leap Slam/Sunder.

Edit:
I got the "Crave the Slaughter" from Berserker Acendency and its prerequisite passive is giving me +1 Rage on hit
Generic +2 Rage on hit from the passive Tree
+3 Rage on hit for Axes from passive Tree including the mastery

+3 from Rage Support

I'm only getting +6 Rage with and without Rage Support equipped.

Same issue.
Using Rage support with lightning strike.
I do not gain rage.

Same here, no rage gain with rage support

i took Slaughter on the west Axe cluster, using a 2-handed axe and Boneshatter, no rage support.
i also don't gain rage on hit.

Same issue, not working with any combination I tried.
