moving maps from remove only map tab to standard map tab does not work

after placing maps into my inventory from remove only MAP stash tab, unable to stash maps to any tab without manually using triangle to pick up and move the map to an empty slot in a general stash tab. square does not work on moving any maps and the standard Map tab does not let me place any map in its tab. my standard Map tab is acting like a remove only Maps stash tab. this bug is found only related to maps specifically that i have come across. first thing i've tried to organize so will post if more bugs found of the like.

I'm assuming you have Map Affinity set to a map tab. (affinity is what makes maps always go into the map tab rather than the current tab when you hit square). Having affinity set will make square do nothing if the current item can't go in to the affinitied tab.

Maps have a "series" associated with them. Generally speaking, the map series changes each league. Only maps from the newest series can go into a map tab by default (although I believe you can change which series a given map tab uses while it's empty, but I haven't tried this in a while).

Maps from old series can be converted to maps from the new series by vendoring them. You may want to be careful not to trigger other vendor recipes at the same time (such as 3:1), as I don't know which one takes precedence.

It's possible that new series maps won't exist until tomorrow, when the new league starts, but I'm not sure. I've never tried converting maps during the downtime before.

Either way, unless you're a dedicated Standard player, this whole problem disappears when the new league starts tomorrow and you start over from scratch.

I do highly recommend playing the new leagues when they come out, for many players, it's the most fun they have in the game.
