They forgot to end necropolis?

Something that poped in my mind, i might be talking garbage here, so sorry if i am
But The next league launches in less than a week, right? I just got a wisp from a guy from necropolis... they forgot to end the league? I usually play standard, so maybe im out of the loop, but the league is supposed to end even before the twitch announce, right? They got so exited with the gigantic patch and experimental league they plain forgot to end necropolis? I suppose they could just say "we gonna end the league tomorrow", or they are gonna do something like "necropolis ends wenesday and new league launches 3 days later"... either way, weird...
