Game does not save audio device settings (resets them on restart)

Hi, I'm having an issue with the game switching my audio device every time I restart the game. This happened with the new patch, and was working fine before.

Whenever I select a different audio device and save the settings, they reset and force a different audio device on restart.

I've been using virtual audio cable to separate game sound from other sounds while recording/streaming for years and never had any issues with it. I can still use it, but the game forces "Speakers Realtek Audio" on startup.

Edit: actually the game just randomly changes the audio device, not even on just on startup...

Having the exact same issue...

Same issue here.
I can still change my audio output, it saves for the session, but reset the next time I open the game.
Issue appeared since the last league. No problem before that.

having the same issue here and i suspect it has something do the with the fact that they fixed certain problems poe had with audio routing software, it now accepts the channels that didn't work for me before but this issue is annoying.
