No she stopped working at Riot and didn't disclose her new employer so far
I don't think the new CM for PoE quit yet, so I don't see her returning (yet) The opposite of knowledge is not illiteracy, but the illusion of knowledge.

" I don't know. I just assumed they filled the role in the meantime since we're approaching the anniversary of Bex leaving GGG soon She was also the marketing manager, so I'm pretty sure someone else took over the reigns there The opposite of knowledge is not illiteracy, but the illusion of knowledge.

Why she left tho in the first place?
Surely a decent pay + benefits and a good company or that's only what we think that is? |

i have a theory.
a lot of people who love/loved poe are pretty passionate folk. before her departure there are a few big issues from my POV which caused outrage/continual outrage. 1. AN. caused huge amount of rage. 2. Exalt/divine fiasco. 3. Separation of poe2 from poe1. 4. Harvest gutted there could be more. as a community manager, she probably heard a lot of complaints and had nothing to placate these folk. i m pretty sure no one held anything against her but its possible that she got tired of all the negativity. i remember that GGG used to be very vocal/communicative then one day it became silent. similarly we never hear from chris anymore. is there any internal conflicts going on? i've always seen GGG as one of the most friendly devs. but all that can go downhill when theres community backlash. and we all know how vocal our community can get. me myself i m pretty vocal. i dont know how bad things can get, but knowing the internet, i m pretty sure people COULD have hurled verbal abuse and even threats towards the devs. bex pretty much had an easy start at GGG as GGG kept making the community happy during her time here. until they started to make drastic changes that affected a lot of the community. its a downward spiral. i kinda miss hearing from chris as he was in a way poe's mascot. but in any case its all theories and baseless. she could have quit to work in a place at a location she preferred. she could be trying to find something that suits her lifestyle. she could be trying different things to gain new experiences. we simply do not know. all the best to her tho. Tired of negativity < good job and a good paying one
Threats over a GAME? Like what? "i cant clear T16 in SC trade and that's why im going to find you" lol But yeah i do miss some posts from Bex and Chris even though i'm never a forum guy or a reddit user, i just watch 98% of the time If that was the reason (threats and verbal abuse) that made her left, then we do not deserve long-lasting good things as humans, unfortunately Only if those unstable raging players would explain why would they do threats over a game in the first place |

" Probably started when the "community" went full retard and started abusing GGG staff(including Bex if i remember right) And she had been with GGG for most of her working life, so she wanted to get out and do something different. A shame Riot canned the project she was with. Ancestral Bond. It's a thing that does stuff. -Vipermagi

" if i had to guess it was when GGG gutted harvest. and GGG gutted harvest multiple times. " you'd be surprised. sometimes its easy to forget that gaming is a hobby shared by many. we have the most mature people as well as the most unhinged messes that would insult and issue death threats. i vaguely remember some other game where the publishers made a decision that many players disliked. death threats were shot at the developers who technically had no say in the decision. its not far fetched that the same could have happened to bex. people wanted to vent and she happens to be the nearest outlet. its also a compound issue. there are maybe 500k people who play poe. if 1% are complainers thats 5k persons. if 1% of them are unhinged to the point of death threats thats still 50 persons 50 ppl sending you messages harrassing you definitely would be unpleasant. Yeah, it wasn't the only factor but this community definitely did a job of chasing/harassing her out of interacting/providing updates and such. It was horrible to say the least.
