Latency spikes, high ms

Hi all, i usually have 40 ms on BR server, but got back in the game a few days ago and its kinda unplayable its constant 160ms and spikes at +3000 ms. I have a fiber ISP with 300Mbps and it works like a charm.. im sure that my isp its not the problem

Sorry to say, but it's a known issue with BR / São Paulo server route.

The only thing you can do to trace / find the breakdown with the connection route to the server is to run a WinMTR and post the results here if you want someone to look at them.

WinMTR post from GGG (with detailed troubleshooting info at bottom):
https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1377789

Search results on this forum of issues with BR / São Paulo server:
(feel free to adjust it from "Past Month" to "Past Year" if you want)
https://www.pathofexile.com/search/results/br%20server/search-within/threads-posts/time/past-month

Recent threads with issues to that server location:

A common question and argument is that all other games work fine but not PoE with high ping spikes. This is almost always a Routing Problem (with BR server) between your home and the GGG server. The routing problem could be caused by a lot of different factors, but simply put, there is something causing high ping and/or packet loss in the middle before your packets reach the server and/or return to you. Not all games, browsing, streaming use the same exact routing or path to get to the end destination.

This is covered in the bottom of the MTR and Connectivity Issue Primer near the bottom of the post in the link provided up top.

As stated above, please run the WinMTR from above and post it here when you are experiencing these high ping issues in game.

Not a problem, I got you covered below.

I'm sure by the WinMTR you posted you can see where the high ping is starting along your route to the server. Obviously this isn't a problem with your ISP but something in the middle.

I saw your other post about a potential VPN workaround. I do not have a VPN suggestion for you that might work well in that area you are, but asking others in your area is a good idea.

Ideally everyone would like to see the issue fixed rather than almost have to resort to a 3rd party connection option to route the traffic around the problem, but that will likely involve a few different parties.

Good luck, hopefully you get this sorted

I right aligned your WinMTR pastebin as a screenshot to see it easier.
