Jugg Reave Strength Stack [3.24]
Juggernaut Reave Strength Stack Guide 3.24
Introduction
This build can do pretty much everything in the game. It is relatively cheap right now because few people are playing it, but putting everything together will still run you out upwards of 150 div. I've been using it to farm t17 btb maps and 80%+ quant. invitations. This build can also be played with dual strike of ambidexterity and volcanic fissure of snaking with some relatively minor alterations. If there's interest in the comments of this guide or the videos on youtube I'll write out how to switch to either.

Pros and Cons
Pros:
Cons:
Mechanics
Offense This build relies on strength stacking to get its damage. With Replica Alberon's Warpath, we gain 1 to 80 chaos damage per 50 strength. Through the Juggernaut Ascendancy Node Undeniable, we gain accuracy rating equal to twice our strength. This is in addition to getting our strength added as accuracy through a warlord helmet mod. The accuracy rating then gives us attack speed through the same Juggernaut ascendancy node. And the elevated version of the warlord helmet modifier grants 1% increased critical strike chance per 10 strength, which gets us to about 70% crit. With the Iron Fortress Unique armor, we convert strength's usual bonus of 1% increased melee physical damage per to 3% increased melee physical damage, a 1.5 multiplier on the usual bonus. However, as we use Replica Alberon's Warpath, which prevents us from doing anything but chaos damage, this bonus isn't useful to us yet. The keystone Iron Will causes strength's damage bonus to apply to spell damage as well as its usual melee physical damage. We can take advantage of this by using battlemage's cry, automated with call to arms support. Battlemage's cry causes increases and reductions to spell damage to also apply to attacks. We can therefore take full advantage of strength stacking. Defense Strength stacking gives us a an extreme amount of life, as every 2 strength grants 1 life, which means we end up with life in the high 5k to low 6k range. Using an Impossible Escape unique jewel for Imbalanced Guard, we can get +3% max res. The Juggernaut ascendancy node Unstoppable prevents any action speed slows. Purity of Elements grants immunity to elemental ailments and a good amount of all res. Further, we can get a good amount of chaos res. through a Watcher's Eye mod for the aura. The Ascendancy node Unflinching gives us endurance charges, which significantly reduce physical damage from hits. The Ascendancy node Unbreakable doubles the armour granted by our body armour and causes 8% of armour to apply to elemental damage from hits. This is a gigantic defensive layer as it causes a flat reduction in any elemental damage we take. With a flask suffix and Mageblood, we can regenerate a net 400 life per second, deducting the degen from blood rage. With a few points on the tree and the instant leech mastery, we can hit 2k leech. The Iron Fortress armour also enables us to cap our attack block, providing a solid way to shrug off damage.
Skills
You can combine these in a bunch of different ways, just make sure the core links remain constant.
Build Paths
Astute readers may have noticed that we are not yet capped on gem slots. There's exactly 1 open. What you fill this slot with is a decision you should make for yourself. Option 1: Berserk You can fill in Berserk in the automation links if you have the forbidden flame and forbidden flesh jewels for Berserker's War Bringer ascendancy node. War Bringer causes you to gain rage when you war cry if you have less than 50 rage. Having some rage and berserk going provides this build with a huge defensive and offensive layer. But the Jewels are expensive. This is the option I favor for fewer button presses. Option 2: Despair Despair can double your damage with the unique jewel Balance of Terror, which has a mod that causes you to apply withered on hit if you've self-cast despair within the past 10 seconds. I recommend this route for uber bossing, as max withered stacks can more than double our damage.
Items
Crafting your Ring
Some notes: I wouldn't do the veiled orb crafting steps until you've put in a significant amount of currency elsewhere. It's one of the last things I intend to finish. Step 4 can brick your craft by adding 3 prefixes. It's ok to stop after 4 if you can't afford a veiled orb, and the build feels ok. Try playing with crafted -mana cost of skills or crafted max life if you do to see what feels best for you.
Crafting your Helmet
Check out Ben's guide. I bought mine from trade for 20 div because I missed the fracture and influence on 3 helmets.
Crafting your Amulet
Crafting your Gloves
Some Notes: Harvest reforge life may fill the prefixes. Use an eldritch annul with exarch dominance to remove a random prefix. Alternatively to Step 3, you may use eldritch exalts and annuls to add and remove a modifier until you get a good life roll. I recommend getting fractured strength and using essences of zeal because you can get 1-2% additional attack speed that way.
Crafting your Medium Cluster
You only need a medium if you're not using Balance of Terror for a source of wither. The Overwhelming Malice notable gives unholy might on a critical strike. Unholy might converts our physical damage to chaos and gives 25% chance to inflict withered on hit. Withered lasts 2 seconds by default. At 10 hits per second, we inflict about 5 stacks of withered after hitting for 2 seconds. Don't craft this. It's dirt cheap. Just buy it.
Crafting your Large Clusters
You need 2 to 3 of these.
Going with 3 large clusters is what I recommend. The extra jewel slots enable a lot of additional power, offensively and defensively. But it does require a higher level to do. Check out the How Do I... section of the guide for help with leveling.
Ascendancy
Unbreakable and Undeniable are must-haves. Unflinching gives good physical damage reduction and overcaps resistances. Overcapepd resistances are good if you're doing content that has a lot of monsters that apply exposure like ultimatum or delirium. Unstoppable prevents any slows from affecting you. I love this node because there are so many slows in modern poe. However, you can switch Unstoppable out for Untiring for the regen, which can provide a solid defensive layer. I recommend making this switch if you want to farm t17s as the extra regen feels great and you can roll them to avoid action speed loss.
How do I...
Level to 70
Level as something else. I went with righteous fire to 70 and then switched over. Check out Pohx's guide.
Level 70 to 100
Firstly, stat stacking builds strongly benefit from hitting level 100, as each extra point can be invested in jewels or clusters. You can use the domination scarab of teaching to cause your shrine buffs to also grant 30% increased experience gained. You then take every shrine point on the atlas tree (other than covetous shrine chance), use the domination craft on the map device, and invest in a league mechanic that spawns a bunch of monsters. This works pretty well with breach. Here's a sample atlas tree. I used 2 breach scarabs, 1 domination scarab, and 1 domination scarab of teaching to level.
Farm with the build
It's tanky, decently fast, and deals good damage. It should be able to handle pretty much anything you throw at it. I've been doing shaper, elder, conqueror, and synthesis rotations, looking to get luck drops and set up to do some feared rotations. It's about 5-10 div an hour. If you really want to make money, try out some of the strategies empy has been testing this league.
Get More Defenses
Cap Chaos Res
You can get a watcher's eye with chaos res when affected by Purity of Elements. You can take a hit to your damage by going with chaos res instead of accuracy rating or attack speed on your gloves. You can take a bigger hit to your damage by taking chaos res on a cluster rather than all attributes. Outside of chaos res, if you're suffering from chaos damage, I recommend taking Soul of Arakaali major pantheon (fill out the chaos res against damage over time) and the Soul of Shakari, again filled out.
Build on a Budget?
There are a lot of places to save a bit. You can get large clusters with just 25% increased effect and slightly lower stat rolls. Instead of a mageblood, you can look for a belt with % increased strength and spam deafening essences of rage. You don't have to go all the way with the crafting steps that need veiled orbs. You can save on your ring or amulet by going for a lower item level. The build won't feel as great with these cuts, but it should still be very usable.
Improve Clear?
Swapping Progenesis out for Oriath's End will help a lot. Also, you should make sure your reave is fully qualitied up. Last edited by deostoer#6613 on May 23, 2024, 7:50:23 AM Last bumped on Aug 17, 2024, 7:48:40 PM
