THIS GAME IS IMPOSSIBLE

i lost like 5/6 character because of the ping, this is the only game, THE ONLY GAME sometis i got 2/3k ping, and i cant logout on character selection, and had to go for login screen and the character had to wait like 10sec to be disconnected this is just impossible, how can be so trash...

Maybe don't play HC if you don't enjoy it?

Lag is a highly possible scenario and potential risk. You can don't play hardcore.

it's not because I don't like HC, it's because I have to lose a character for a problem that isn't even mine, it's the only game where a ping problem like this happens to me, and it's not possible that I should choose not to play HC to overcome this problem and it is not possible that once disconnected a character must remain in the game for 5/10 seconds it is a big bullshit

Others don't have this problem.

Adapt - play tankier builds, less rippy content, or don't play HC.

Dying on Hardcore move you to Softcore.
Technically speaking there no reason you can't continue playing.

Playing on Hardcore league is just bragging rights...

This is a video game. Anything you do and accomplish here is just that, vanity.

Sadly the PoE servers have been in a poor state since at least Affliction. Personally never had issues, but I know plenty of people who have had a very lackluster experience or were not able to play at all.

If you haven't yet you should reach out to support. They can guide you through some simple diagnostics to determine if you can do anything on your end to improve your experience. If that doesn't fix it we'll have to wait for GGG to come up with a solution to the ongoing server issues.

Either way, I know how much it sucks to lose a character to something completely out of your hand, be it a game-breaking bug, crashes or server problems. Venting helps, and you're doing that. :)

Are you perhaps farming essences? Because I have the same issue rn
