elemental overload vs secrets of suffering

Hey guys,

quick question regarding elemental overload and secrets of suffering:

will elemental overloads line "ailments never count as being from critical strikes" disable secrets of sufferings "critial strikes inflict scorch, brittle and sapped"?

My thinking is that the line on EO just means that ignites, poisons and such dont get a dot-dps-inc from crits any longer, with EO allocated, but wanted to make sure.

upd. If someone came here from google, things have changed after 3.25 update, EO doesn't work with Secrets of Suffering anymore. The line now has broader meaning.
