Automation support vs CWDT with guard skills
I have been using a lvl 2 CWDT for my lvl 11 Vaal Molten shell so far. I need to add Automation support for Convocation and I'm a bit socket starved so I was wondering if I shouldn't just run both Molten Shell and Convocation on Automation together.
Pros: - save a socket - lvl 20 Molten Shell - higher uptime Cons: - Molten Shell might not be up at the right moment Has anyone compared this in game and could share their experience? Last bumped on May 4, 2024, 4:04:13 PM

CWDT won't help with single huge hits. Automation *might* help.
CWDT will help tremendously with spammy hits. Automation *might* help. That's the gist of it. It's typically spam that kills me so I tend to go with CWDT, but an evasion based character that dies every 20 hits might prefer automation to add another dice roll to their death slot machine. Since slots are a concern I'd probably go with automation since it's not that big a difference. Украина в моём сердце

Thanks for the reply! These spammy hits are definitely where CWDT has saved me the most. But I'll give it a try with Automation.
