Leeching physical

If I get the mastery node which allows my totems to leech a percent of physical damage they do to me, and I use a skill such as shockwave totem , will I still be able to leech if the physical damage from ST is converted to a different element?

Your or totems damage conversion occurs before the hit, leech occurs after the hit based on damage taken by the enemy. So your end damage type is what matters for leech conditions.
