Map Tier requirement for corrupted essences?

Hey there,

did i miss any requirements for the purple essences turning into their corrupted version? I have corrupted atleast 20-25 essences (dread, envy,misery,scorn) and didnt get a single corrupted essence. Im farming in yellow tier maps. Did i miss the red tier map requirement? Or did they stealth nerf this, because i have never been so unlucky before.

And no i dont have Crystal Resonance allocated.

As long as you're in maps that are above Level 68 area level (so all end-game maps), you're good to go.

Area Level 68 is needed to spawn the Essences of Misery/Envy/Dread/Scorn which can then be corrupted to the Tier 8 (Corrupt-only) essences;

The recent patch notes actually have this line in them;

>Fixed a bug where Essences of Misery, Envy, Scorn or Dread could not be transformed to Essences of Horror, Delirium, Hysteria or Insanity with a Remnant of Corruption.

So it looks like it was bugged.
