Totem masteries are genuinely bad
Like their counterpart- Brand's - have such interesting and good masteries
Totem masteries - Buffs from active ancestor totems linger - Only for Ancestral Protector or Ancestral Warchief, meh - 1% Phys Att Dmg dealt by totems is leech as life - Another attack specific totem mod that's on the mastery... why? This should be on an attack totem node or changed to be 1% of damage dealt by totems so it can be used more universally - 5% of Damage from hits is taken from nearest totem - 5%? Wut Who cares....this is straight garbage - Skills that summon a totem have a 30% chance to summon two instead - So cannot be used when using multi totem support, which most totem builds use and only a 30% chance? Should instead summon maximum number of totems on a lower chance Or be a higher chance than 30% - Totem action speed cannot be modified to below base value - So this mastery makes it so totems cannot be frozen/chilled Totems cannot be cursed anyways, so its just immune to freeze/chill Not very useful tbh - 60% increased Global crit if you've summoned a totem - This is the only decent totem mastery imo, but also specifically only for crit totems ----------------- TLDR - Most of the totem masteries are straight garbage, have not had any love or changes in a long time The one decent mastery - taunt - is gone Please do something with the totem masteries.... ----------------- Suggestions for decent totem masteries - Totems have 25% more Totem placement speed Totems have 100% increased Totem placement range Totems have a 25% chance to taunt nearby enemies for 1 second when summoned Totems skills that summon totems have a 25% chance to summon the maximum number of totems Totems have 10% more life Last edited by Bloomania on Mar 27, 2024, 4:44:40 PM Last bumped on Mar 28, 2024, 6:57:52 AM

" He's right tho? Lingering effect = better uptime on melee buffs for Protector/Warchief 5% damage taken is fantastic for better eHP, and even better on Chieftain Totem action speed looks like it does nothing until any cold damage hitting your spell totems decreases your damage by 30% (can forego with Purity of Elements, but it's still great) 60% global crit chance genuinely great for Elemental Overload builds 1% Phys Att Damage leeched as life = mandatory for melee totem builds (which are niche, but it's great that it receives support) People need to start thinking for themselves instead of just looking at whatever PoB "suggests" numbers wise The opposite of knowledge is not illiteracy, but the illusion of knowledge. " Lingering effect - should not be a totem mastery, its an attack mastery 5% damage taken is fantastic for better eHP - No its not, its pretty pathetic Totem action speed - meh not that useful and most people don't take it 60% global crit chance - Already said this one is the only decent one " Ironic.... Telling me to think for myself but trying to tell me my feedback is wrong and that I should agree with you because you say so Totem masteries are very weak when compared to other archetypes Last edited by Bloomania on Mar 27, 2024, 4:58:55 PM

I'm saving this thread to use later when I need an example of why it's a good thing GGG doesn't listen to the community.

people drool over 1% max res increase, and you think a full blown 5% less damage taken from hits mastery is 'meh'??
wow.... | |
" So you don't know how resistance works and how damage taken from hits works Please learn -> https://www.poewiki.net/wiki/Damage_taken Damage taken refers to the amount of damage taken after all mitigations have taken place Not to mention that it's also only from hits, does not apply to DOT damage or ground degen Last edited by Bloomania on Mar 27, 2024, 5:17:01 PM
