Dynamic resolution downscaling triggers too soon/often
Since last patch the game resolution gets downscaled too aggressively on Playstation. Even without much activity on the screen (i.e. during campaign) the goes down to 480p (or worse...), making the game look bad and almost unplayable.

It's possible that this is due to the cache-clear that was (IIRC) in the league-end patch.
It might just be rebuilding the texture cache. I'm not sure if that causes downscaling though. I know it used to cause pop-in, but they changed the way it works with the last engine change (which was in Affliction, IIRC). Anyway, if it is that, it should stop happening after you've visited most environments and seen most monster types. |
