Heist the red-headed stepchild of 3.24?
After examining the 3.24 new atlas passive tree I noticed something rather bizarre: Nothing was changed for heist. At all.
-Every node that has a +% chance to find a smuggler cache is identical to 3.23, maxing out at 40%. Meanwhile, every other league mechanic has had its chance elevated to 100%, provided investment. -When looking at the Straight and Narrow notable, the wording indicates that heist doesn't have any scarabs that can be blocked, unlike all the others. Screensaves from the 3.24 reveal seems to confirm the fact, as it would appear that every other mechanic on the atlas is represented in the updated frag tab, save heist. So, in conclusion to the information provided I'd be remiss not to ask: ...why??? Did GGG honestly forget one of their own mechanics in the process, or did they forego it maliciously? I'm genuinely curious. Last bumped on Mar 24, 2024, 11:08:10 PM

I enjoy heist and it makes my HCSSF experience fruitful if i want to "test" something
It's good that it won't be easier to access it (blueprints etc), tbh it was and it is easy still Last league i've gotten some 30+ divine armor which was amazing Wouldn't be as much as amazing if it'd be as common as you want it to be |

" What the hell are you going on about? I was merely noting the discrepancy between heist and the other mechanics in the game; how the preclusion was at odds with the new changes. The reward or difficulty of said mechanic is not particularly germane to the conversation, nor the point. |

Heist was too much "free money" for mappers who picked up blueprints/deception contracts/markers as a side hustle so GGG decided to give Heist 0 extra support.

People were already unhappy about doing Heist every league.

Sadly it might be in preparation of removing it in one of the coming leagues. Removing alt gems already happened, nerfing league specific(non-heist) drops already happened and now this. Step by step making it less beneficial to focus farm so that less will react if it goes poof.
