Maven fight -watchstones - newb question

So i've been doing the exarch and maven and eater of worlds

got them all up to t16 s maps .
I tried the mavem 10 boss fight, done it last night.
quest no longer shows anything to do in the quest tracking thing

what else is there to do now so i can get my watchstone?
*i've checked online and i found a lot of amterial but most of it seems out of date, can t figure out what's next


Can someone help with an up to date explination?

You need Maven's Writ and do the actual Maven fight.
You get fragments for the writ by doing the 10 way maven fights etc

I got no fragment this time ... damn
so i need to do it again and again untill i get ... how many fragemts are needed?

If the invitation has more quality it drops more frags
And the more challenging ones also drop more. Like elder guardians, shaper guardians and so on

If you're playing standard, you can get a carry for 2-3 divs on Maven as well. Not saying it is the honorable thing to do, but Maven is not honorable.

What happens if I fail Mavens 10 boss fight?

You have to beat another 10 bosses with her witness and do it again :)
