Is stash auto sorting possible?

I play on Xbox so sorting items in stash takes ages. Is there an option to auto sort items in stash either alphabetically or by type or is it all manual work?

Console player as well. I don't believe there is a way to alphabetically sort items in your stash, but you can automatically sort event related items into premium tabs using the tab options feature. It's especially useful for stackable items like delirium orbs or oils since you can stash them with one button.

Unfortunately, you'll still need to manually move the items into specific regions or they will continuously stack vertically downwards beginning in the upper-left corner of the tab. With some forethought you can easily set yourself up for success.

Also, I'd highly recommend taking advantage of the filter feature if you haven't/don't already. Once used to it you can drastically cut down on the time it takes to find specific items.

I never considered it before, but this is a brilliant
suggestion that we could all benefit from.

it is possible for ggg to implement a kind of autosort.

imagine you have a tab, its a regular tab and has all
sorts of shards in it, and scarabs but they are all just
dumped in there all mixed together.

an autosort would have clustered the scarabs together, clustered
the offerings together, clustered the atziri fragments together.

but that is a premium service. ggg will do it if you pay them,
and actually they did. premium fragments tab keeps them all organized.
etc,.

unfortunately ggg cant offer the service for free >< but yea i would love it
too.

as a compromise I think any free auto sort capability could be
restricted to console players. its so much harder to sort without
a mouse... its irritating enough with a mouse. :/

I would say premium tabs and the "recent" addition of affinities is their version of stash auto sorting. Doubt they would do any more than that. Doubt they really NEED to do any more than that...

At this point, you can get every premium tab you could ever need for a total of $20-40? Less than half of your average game cost. And that is basically the ONLY p2w aspect of this game. The average player that enjoys this game should really be fine spending that amount on a free-service game at the scale of PoE.

the beauty of the system of stash tabs investment is
that the more that you play the game, the more you love
the damned misery of it all.... the more likely you will buy
the map tab... and the currency tab.... and lately we have
been encouraged to buy the essence tab a little harder.

we all get everything.... but its easier to control and
organize if you pay. thats advanced free to play. hats off.

we all get a chance. its just more convenient for those who
pay. easier to upgrade their maps and essences and to craft,
easier to trade. I hate the bloat angle they used a few years
ago adding so many different shards and scarabs and blah blah blah
not that that encouraged us to get special tabs, but that it
gave us more essoteric crap to pay attention to.

will there be a purchasable "use all of your map enhancements
efficiently" button?

too much bloat for profit. find better methods of profit
(still never pay to win.)
