How do two Cast on Crit gems work?
How does two Cast on Crit gems work on two different items? Is it possible to have two or even three CoC setups at the same time? Or will the gems all share the same coodldown?
I was thinking this because of Mathil's old detonate dead CoC build. I'd really like to retry it, but I was wondering if it is possible to improve it. As in to have descrate connected to CoC in a 3 or 4link setup and then the Detonate Dead skill on my main 6Link CoC for the actual damage part of the combo. Is that a viable combo or would it be a waste of time? This is Mathil's build, if anyone wants to know what I'm talking about: https://youtu.be/1q5hoeXaab0?si=H__3JpVfHilk2J0D - he used to have both skills in the same CoC link. Different coc links should work independently, cooldown is shared only when triggered spells are exactly same across multiple links.
However I don't see a point in this, you'd have to consistently attack with 2 different attack skills, and without synchronous cast between desecrate and DD too. On 1 link, you can be sure that every new cast of DD will follow a cast of desecrate, and you merge it on 1 button Last edited by Echothesis#7320 on Feb 5, 2024, 4:49:34 AM

You can have as many coc setups as you can fit but triggering them is usually the issue.
One option is to trigger things like Vengeance with selfdamage which can crit and trigger a second coc setup. Example from a couple of leagues ago (do not copy, it's just for a showcase): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0391zkyLwyw Last edited by Scarletsword#4354 on Feb 5, 2024, 6:31:34 AM

Oh my god... I guess I'm just fucking dumb. I have no idea why I thought both CoC setups would trigger from the same atttack skill.....

" Wait?! Will this work if I have Cospri's Malice equipped in my main hand??? It's cast on crit effect should work even if the attack I'm using isn't placed in the Cospri itself, right? |
