Transfigured Storm Burst idea

Playing self cast storm burst is very clunky and has way too many variables to manage.

That said lets go over the fun things about it. The best part of the skill is having the ability to precisely direct orbs, dealing damage exactly where you need it, all without having to move your character.

Also, it allows you take advantage of stationary, channeling, and increased skill effect duration mechanics and skills.

Building around these mechanics can be fun, in practice of the skill leaves something to be desired. To maximize your DPS, you have to stay stationary, channel your orbs for a few seconds, release the skill for the orbs to explode, and then repeat the process to generate another burst of damage. This is just too clunky, not to mention you will need to move eventually, especially in boss arenas.

Calculating your DPS is nearly impossible with this skill. PoB says I'm in the 10s of millions, but in reality, it's like around 800k to 1m. The frustrating part in wanting to release orbs as soon as they're created for burst damage, while also trying to channel the maximum number of orbs. However, the time spent channeling for maximum orbs results will cut the damage modifier "Exploding Orbs deal 75% of Skill Damage for each 0.4 seconds of remaining Duration."

So here's my suggestion. Cut the "exloding orbs" modifier out of the skill. Just have it as a continuously channeling spell. Also I would like to keep the duration tag on the skill. That is imo a huge part of it's identity. So the orbs still have a duration, but just don't explode. Then just up the base damage.
