Offline Mode ?
 The above is a spike I get every 2-3 minutes, and makes playing the game softcore-only. I live in the middle of nowhere and rely on satelite internet which seems to deliver in packets, which is unoptimal for gaming, and there is no alternative for me. I would gladly pay money to have an offline mode to make this playable. Make Bladefall Great Again! Last bumped on Apr 15, 2024, 10:10:06 AM

I wish this and almost every other game had an offline mode but no, they will not ever add one.
The whole point of a free to play game is that they control the economy and can sell secondary transactions... that people would easily make for free if it wasn't locked down and using server side interactions. They'd make no money on offline mode. |

Most of the decisions about what happens in game is handled by the server, so they'd have to write a completely new client just to enable offline mode while also enabling people to cheat. This is one of the few things that is never going to happen

You know you can play any online game in a home-made 'offline' version too, right? :D We're not talking about this.
I thought we are discussing a supported offline version made out of the good will of GGG. Such a game version can be anything - it may include any part/feature of the game - doesn't have to be the way you actually imagine it. And most likely not the full game anyway. GL with that "homemade" offline version.
If there was a thing, it would have been passed around. As far as discussion, they decided it wasn't worth the money or time in order to implement it and they were right.
