Infernal Blade flame dash targeting is random with normal Ice nova but not transfigured Ice nova

When infernal blade is socketed with normal Ice Nova gem and you cast Ice Nova, the flame dash that is triggered will cast in a random direction.
I tried putting in Ice Nova of Frostbolts and the targeting of the flame dash was working properly. Also tried a bunch of other spells (spark, arc, vortex, flame surge, voltaxic burst) and it was working fine. Shock nova also is bugged with infernal blade. Same problem with "Blade Blast of Dagger Detonation". It goes of in a random direction however it also seems to never go further than the range of the blast AoE.
None transfigured one works as it should. Tried another transfigured on character AoE skill "Cold Snap Of Power" and it works correctly. Very sad that the Dagger blast doesn't work with the perfect dagger for it. Tests done in ruthless. |

This is not a bug. Triggered skills target where the trigger happens - for the case of triggers from using your skills, they target the same location as the skill you used that triggered them.
Ice Nova is a self-targeted skill, it always targets your own location (and a skill which requires a direction, such as a movement skill will pick a random direction if targeted at your own location. Ice Nova of Frostbolts targets a location near the cursor because it has to look for frostbolts in that area. |
