Cannot ascend further in Wildwood

I chose the Primalist ascendancy, got my first 3 ascendancy points, after killed The King in the Mists. The Quest Line showed find the Primalist.
A friend was helping me to find it, but I was not sure if it is right, now the Quest is gone.
Found the Primalist on my own in the Desecrated Chambers but couldnt ascend.
What can I do? Do I have to start all new?
Please help me

That is true, my bad. I always thought I had 3 because it looks like I spend 3.

But how can I proceed further?

I think I found my mistake, I never respecced the other Wildwood Ascendancy points I had before.
